Lin-Manuel Miranda gets a star on Puerto Rico Walk of Fame

What hasn’t Lin-Manuel Miranda achieved? He’s pretty much got it all and he’s even getting more. The Hamilton creator goes back to his roots to receive a star on the Puerto Rico Walk of Fame.

All eyes were on Miranda when he starred and wrote the music and lyrics of the Tony winning musical In the Heights, back in 2008. From then on, his career has been incredibly successful and he definitely became a household name when Hamilton revolutioned the theatre world last year. Miranda’s production of the story of the founding fathers earned him a Tony award for Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, and even the Pulitzer prize for Drama.

Other artists that have been honored on The Puerto Rico Walk of Fame are Ricky Martin, Chayanne, Roselyn Sánchez, and Gilberto Santa Rosa, among others.

Miranda’s future projects, now that he has finished his run on Hamilton, include writing the music for Disney’s upcoming animated film Moana and the sequel to Mary Poppins, alongside Emily Blunt.
