The producers of the show have announced that the Broadway show will close three months earlier than planned due to “the current theatrical landscape”.

An American In Paris, which was supposed to end its run on January 1, 2017, will close production on October 9, close to the opening of the national tour that begins in Boston. The musical will also open in London in March 2017, and it will include its original starts Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope.
